ACM @ WPI

Posted February 29, 2008

The WPI ACM is an official chapter of the national Association of Computing and Machinery, an organization dedicated to Computer Science (similar to the IEEE for engineering). We host a variety of events throughout the year, including cookouts, game nights with the CS professors, lectures on various CS topics, and Linux install-fests. The ACM participates in the national ACM Programming Contest every year, although you do not need to be a member of the ACM to participate.

We also have our very own lab in the sub-basement of Fuller which has a lounge with cold drinks and snacks available.
